The 093 check valve is an ultra miniature side-exit check valve. Weighing only 0.14 grammes nominal, the 093 Lee Chek offers a 90% weight saving over the 187 version and is 50% shorter, resulting in a corresponding reduction in installation boss size and weight. Available in a forward flow configuration, the new Lee Chek is constructed entirely of stainless steel and features a hard, metal to metal seat for durability and long life.

NACE Compliant Pressure Relief Valve

The 0.281 inch diameter Pressure Relief Valve is now available made from corrosion-resistant materials that are compliant with NACE specification MR0175 / ISO 15156 to suit harsh duty applications such as those found in the oil tool industry.

Standard valves are available in forward and reverse flow directions with cracking pressures from 80 to 5,900 psid. Custom models are also available with cracking pressures as high as 12,000 psid.

156 Bender Jet

The new 156 Lee Bender Jet is a miniature, lightweight multi-orifice restrictor. Weighing only 1.1 grams nominal, the 156 Bender Jet offers a 21% weight savings over the 187 Bender Jet and is 17% smaller in diameter, resulting in a corresponding reduction in installation boss size and weight. Using the same field-proven technology as our other Lee Bender Jets, the 156 Bender Jet incorporates multiple orifices in series to lower fluid velocity and reduce the possibility of cavitation. The multi-orifice configuration also provides a larger minimum passage for a given Lohm rate to increase resistance to contamination. Designed to meet the requirements of 5,000 psi systems, 156 Bender Jets are offered in eight standard Lohm rates, ranging from 1,900 to 9,500 Lohms, and are protected with two integral safety screens for bidirectional flow capability. In addition, each Bender Jet is 100% flow tested to ensure accurate, consistent performance.

Wash Down Nozzles

Wash Down Nozzles

A new range of micro wash down nozzles for washing cuvettes, test tubes, 96 well plates and other similar laboratory receptacles as well as purging / drying gas chambers, has been developed. They are constructed from 303 and 304 stainless-steel and the nozzles are 6 in. long, feature a 0.062 Minstac fitting at one end and have a total restriction of 1800 Lohms.

Two versions are available, one with ten 0.010” diameter holes and one with twenty 0.007” diameter holes to ensure an ultrafine spray which is ideal for delicate, yet effective wash down in critical areas. However, it is intended to produce a version with forty 0.005” diameter holes in the future. Various lengths are available on request, as are specials to suit specific applications.

High Pressure 187 and 281 Directional Flow Controls

The new 187 and 281 High Pressure Flow Controls are the latest addition to Lee’s line of miniature directional flow control valves that provide restricted flow in one flow direction and free flow in the other direction. The valves are ideal for high pressure hydraulic applications with system pressures up to 5,000 psi. The valves incorporate high strength safety screens for both flow directions. Available in forward and reverse free flow configurations, the new High Pressure Directional Flow Controls are constructed entirely from stainless steel for durability and long life. Metered Lohm rates are available from 1000 to 20,000 Lohms.

5k Flareless Tube Safety Screen Adapter

The 5k Flareless Tube Safety Screen Adapter integrates The Lee Company’s field proven HI-BAR screen into a new Ring Locked Adaptor design. Compared to conventional flareless tube Ring Locked Adapters rated for 4000 psi, this flareless adapter design can handle system pressures up to 5080 psi. This is a perfect match for the robust Lee HI-BAR Safety Screens which are rugged enough to withstand pressure differentials up to 7500 psi without burst or collapse. The Lee HI-BAR Safety Screens are machined entirely from 15-5PH stainless steel while the adapter is manufactured from lightweight 6AL-4V titanium. The 5k Flareless Tube Safety Screen Adapters are available in -4, -6, -8 and -10 configurations and meet both of the latest aerospace specifications, AS5550 and ABS0993. Seven standard hole sizes ranging from 0.002” (50 micron) to 0.020” (500 micron) in diameter are available. Special custom designs are available upon request.

High Pressure Air Charging Valve

The Lee High Pressure Air Charging Valve provides a reliable manually operated valve that facilitates the charging or bleeding of a high pressure gas system. The valve is constructed from a combination of 15-5 PH and 300 series stainless steel components and has nitrile rubber o-rings with Teflon back-up rings for sealing and support. The valve is actuated by manually turning a nut that jacks the valve stem open or closed against a metal-to-metal, bubble-tight seat. Charging is done by removing the stem cap and connecting a gas source to the stem end. The design also incorporates an audible safety feature that warns the user of unreleased air pressure when the valve is being removed from its installation boss Designed for 5000 psi pressure vessels, the Lee Air Charging Valve is a light-weight version offered in a smaller overall package than similar designs on the market today. This valve weighs just 34.5 grams compared to 47.6 grams for competitive designs. It comes with mounting threads for use with AS5202-05 standard ports and has been qualified per MIL-PRF-6164 test requirements. Special custom designs are available upon request.

VHS Injection Manifold Mount System

The Lee VHS Injection Manifold Mount System allows for the precise injection of fluid into a flow stream. Using this system, any ported Lee VHS micro-dispense valve can be mounted so that the outlet port is in close proximity to the flow stream, thus minimising captive capillary volume and increasing injected volume repeatability. Lee VHS valves are high-speed, two-way solenoid valves that have set the standard in applications requiring microliter and nanoliter dispense volumes. One, two, three and four place standard manifolds are available. For greater design flexibility and to allow for future expansion, boss plugs are available to seal any unused ports in the manifold. Valves and plugs can be installed and removed repeatedly. Custom manifolds designs and materials are also available.
