The new Lee 375 Bypass Valve is designed to shunt flow across an actuator piston when the system pressure is either shut off or lost. The 375 Bypass Valve is normally open device, with a hydraulically-actuated pilot-to-close feature.

This miniature valve weighs only 16 grams and is designed for 4000psi systems. The metal components are constructed entirely of stainless steel for durability and long life. Each Lee Bypass Valve is 100% tested and inspected to ensure reliable, consistent performance.

The new 250 PRI pressure relief valve is the latest addi­tion to Lee’s line of miniature pressure relief valve inserts. This new valve is ideally suited for low flow hydraulic applications where a miniature, light weight pressure relief valve is needed. The 250 PRI is only 1.1 inches long and weighs only 4.5 grams. A Lee Safety Screen is incorporated at the inlet of the valve for protection.

Available in forward and reverse relief flow configurations, the 250 PRI is available in a wide range of standard cracking pressures from 80 to 3600 psid, and is constructed entirely of stainless steel for durability and long life. Each 250 PRI is 100% tested and inspected to ensure reliable, consistent performance.

The Hi-Q Pressure Relief Valve is designed for applications that require both a high relief pressure and a high flow rate in a compact package. The Hi-Q Pressure Relief Valve is offered in a range of cracking pressures from 1,000 to 5,400 psid and is designed for use with nominal system pressures up to 5,000 psi and peak pressures up to 6,750 psi.

NACE Compliant 15,000psi Check Valves

The new range of Lee check valves has been specifically designed for the harsh duty applications found in the Oil Tool Industry such as chemical injection. They are constructed entirely of corrosion-resistant materials that are compliant with NACE specification MR0175/ISO 15156. These check valves feature a durable MP35N poppet and seat and they have been designed for checked direction pressures up to 15,000 psid. The NACE Compliant High Pressure Check Valves are available in free flow forward and free flow reverse directions, with cracking pressures of 5±3 and 1±0.5 PSID in sizes from 0.125" to 0.500" in diameter.

The Lee Company’s new Quiet Operation High Density Interface (HDI) is a 3-way solenoid valve designed to achieve patient comfort by reducing actuation noise by 50%. A typical solenoid valve has an inherent clicking sound when energized, which is caused by the metal-to-metal contact of the moving armature and stationary core. This new quiet operation design uses “whisper” technology to provide a sound level measurement of less than 37 dBA when measured at a distance of 24 inches and a valve cycle frequency of 10 Hz. Available in face mount, plug-in and ported configurations, the Quiet Operation HDI is ideal for medical applications flowing gas or air, such as dialysis machines, patient monitors, ventilators/respirators and other bedside medical devices.

A new solenoid valve has been developed which has a manual override capability for typical applications in engine cowl door systems and cargo door actuators on commercial aircraft and in rotor blade fold units on military helicopters. Currently available in a single coil normally closed configuration for 4,000psig systems, the valve can be designed with single or dual coils in normally closed or normally open configurations for operation in 3,000 or 5,000 psi systems .

Atomizing Nozzles Offer Precise Spray Pattern

The new atomizing nozzles, available in both airless and air-assisted styles, generate a 50-degree hollow cone spray pattern and offer precise, controlled atomization in a compact package. The airless atomizing nozzles do not require an external air supply and will atomize with pressures as low as 20 psi (on water).

Available in multiple flow ranges, the nozzles can be installed directly onto a proprietary VHS micro-dispense solenoid valve for precise flow control using pulse-width modulation (PWM).

Atomizing Nozzle Spray

 

The air-assisted nozzles utilize an external air source to control the atomization, allowing lower operating pressures (5 psi). The pressure of the liquid and air can be independently controlled to fine-tune the flow rate and nozzle performance.

The Lee Company's Catch-All Safety Screens integrate fine filtration into a rugged, compact, flange mount design. With a nominal hole size rating of 20 microns, these safety screens provide protection for critical components with even the smallest of flow passageways and clearances. The Lee Catch-All Safety Screens are incredibly robust considering their fine filtration rating. These screens incorporate a rugged, calendered, and sintered 316L stainless steel wire mesh weave for maximum strength and feature a seamless, one-piece design containing radial convolutions that greatly increase the contamination carrying capacity of the screen. High Pressure Micro Solenoid Valve for Completion Tools in Oil Wells

The Lee Company has developed a Reduced Diameter Solenoid Valve which has a maximum outside diameter of 0.550” (14mm) which is the same as an AA battery. In order to maintain the same power delivered by the coil, the length of the coil has been increased to 68mm. The solenoid valve is a single coil, 3 way, Normally Closed device, capable of operating up to 5,000psid at a maximum voltage of 32vdc and typically flowing 0.12USGPM at 200psid but could easily be designed as a Normally Open version. Typically these would be fitted into the annulus of a completion tool in an oil well where there is limited space available.

The Lee Company’s new 375 PRI/Chek Valve combines the function of a pres­sure relief valve in parallel with a check valve into one easy to install insert. The relief valve function features a rugged Tungsten Carbide ball and a 440C seat for durability and long life. The re­maining components are constructed entirely of stainless steel. The 375 PRI/Chek Valve is available in a range of relief flow cracking pres­sures for system pressures up to 5000 psi. Maximum restriction in the free flow direction is only 220 Lohms. Each Lee PRI/Chek Valve is 100% tested and inspected in both flow di­rections to ensure reliable, consistent performance.

LPL2 Inert Solenoid Pump

The Lee Company’s new LPL2 Inert Solenoid Pump is the latest addition to the line of fixed vol­ume pumps. The pump features a revolution­ary port head design that allows tubing connections and manifold mounting. This enables the designer to test the fluidic system using connections to soft 1/16" tubing, and then once the system design has been finalized, the same pump can be manifold mounted using standard O-rings.

The electrical interface of the LPL2 Inert Solenoid Pump has also been up­dated for greater design flexibility. The contoured end cap provides secondary connector retention and is compatible with standard AMP connectors. The pump features a low power consumption of 2.5W in 12 or 24vdc models and dispenses a fixed volume of 50 microlitres per shot.
